How coverage works with Premera

Premera Blue Cross plans vary by employer group, product, and network. Nabi can identify clinicians whose current internal records mark them as Premera credentialed, but the member’s exact benefits still determine coverage and cost.

Nabi verifies the plan before the first visit and uses both state licensure and Premera credentialing when making an insurance-based match.

Read the insurer or program guidance: Premera: understanding health insurance

Before you book

What Nabi checks for your Premera plan

  1. 1.The network and group shown on your Premera card
  2. 2.The clinician’s Premera credentialing record
  3. 3.Nutrition benefits, diagnosis rules, visit limits, and cost-sharing

Why we verify instead of promising “$0”

People with the same carrier can have different networks, referrals, deductibles, visit limits, and diagnosis requirements. Even a credentialed clinician may not be in network for every product sold by Premera.

Nabi uses your plan details to verify benefits and select a clinician who also fits your state and care needs. The final determination of benefits remains with the health plan.

Supporting people on their journey of changing their relationship with food and their body is my favorite part of nutrition counseling. I believe that you are the expert of your body, so I enjoy working together in a collaborative partnership to create goals and plans of care that are in alignment with your values and lifestyle. Nutrition can feel confusing. Many of us are taught messages about food, weight, health, and our bodies as far back as we can remember, and all of these "rules" can feel overwhelming. I'll help you sort through the noise to find ways to nourish your body in a way that makes sense for you and your goals. Health and nourishment looks different for everyone, so nutrition care should be individualized. My hope is that our work empowers you to feel confident in your food choices, helps you feel more attuned to your body's needs, and provides you with practical strategies that are supportive, realistic, and flexible. As someone who lives in a larger body and has recovered from a long history of disordered eating, I understand that health and nutrition status cannot be judged based on appearance, weight, or BMI, and that sometimes our healthiest weight is not what we've been led to believe it is. Therefore, my nutrition philosophy is weight neutral and fat positive. I practice from a weight inclusive perspective that centers around lived experiences, and am fully aligned with HAES. I'd love to help you break up with the rigidity of dieting, to find freedom and flexibility with eating, and to reclaim headspace back from intrusive thoughts about food and body. Whether you are wanting to explore stepping away from dieting, wanting more joy in your relationship with food and body, and/or you need help managing a medical diagnosis, I would be honored to support you. I strive for you to be able to trust yourself to keep fun foods in your house, while teaching you new ways to help keep your energy stable and fuel your awesome life!

I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders and have over 10 years of experience doing so. I welcome all eating disorder diagnoses or concerns of disordered eating. I welcome all gender expressions, LGBTQIA+, adults of any age, and adolescents with their families. I am passionate about helping people heal their relationship with food, exercise, and their bodies. I know that seeking support and trusting a provider with your struggles can be very difficult; I hold that trust sacred. One of my favorite things about this work is seeing people reach the point in recovery when they say, 'I finally have freedom.' I also enjoy helping people with diabetes feel more empowered to manage their blood sugars, without a focus on weight or weight loss, or 'good' or 'bad' foods. We work together to find the changes that are going to be most doable and most helpful in your life based on your individual needs. I look forward to working with you!

Do you feel constantly stressed around food? Are you (understandably) overwhelmed by the ever-changing nutrition advice you see online? Do thoughts about food, your body, or exercise take up way too much space in your mind? If so, you're not alone—and I'd love to work together. I work with adults of all identities (LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, etc.) and I specialize in helping people rebuild a peaceful and trusting relationship with food. My passion for this work comes from my own long history of disordered eating. After fully recovering, I was amazed by how much space opened up in my life—space for creativity, relationships, joy, and things that truly matter. That experience shaped my belief that so much of what we're taught about weight and health is simply not true. Diet culture disconnects us from our natural cues, pathologizes normal body diversity, and profits off our insecurities. My approach is weight-neutral and rooted in Health at Every Size® (HAES). I believe health is not defined by one's body size nor should it look like 'chicken breast, white rice, and broccoli' for every meal. Cultural foods, comfort foods, and fun foods all have a place in your life. My goal is to help you reconnect with your body's innate wisdom so food decisions feel grounded—not stressful or 'high stakes.' While I specialize in eating disorders and disordered eating, I also support people navigating general health concerns in a weight-inclusive, shame-free way. This includes things like heart health, digestive issues, blood sugar balance, and building sustainable habits without restriction or rigidity. I bring the nutrition expertise, but you bring the expertise of your body and lived experience. Together we'll build personalized, sustainable changes that honor your body, your culture, your preferences, and your goals. I also love working with athletes. As a triathlete myself, I've learned firsthand how deeply nutrition impacts performance, energy, and recovery. Whether you're training for your first 5K or tackling endurance events, I'm here to help you fuel in a way that feels empowering—not obsessive. When I'm not working, you can find me outside—mountaineering, trail running, or cold plunging. I love reading, watching Netflix in Spanish, and of course ending the day with a sweet treat.

When you work with me, you can expect a supportive, compassionate, and judgment-free space where your experiences, preferences, and goals guide our work together. Nutrition is not one-size-fits-all, and I believe care should feel realistic, flexible, and supportive of your life. Our sessions are collaborative—we'll explore what's going on, identify root contributors, and create a plan that feels achievable and sustainable.
