About
Hello! My Name is Teagan and I am here to help you navigate all things food and body image related. I care deeply about helping people find a healthy relationship between food and their body and will work with you on an individualized basis to get there. My approach is open minded, curious and non-judgmental. Everyone is different and what works for one person may not work for another, so I take a collaborative approach helping you to adapt practices that are realistic and sustainable.
If you feel like food noise has started to take control of your life, in turn making you feel out of control, I can help you to shift that balance back. In a world full of dieting, impossible body standards and conflicting messages, my goal is to help you feel more at peace when it comes to your own body and relationship with food.
I have over ten years of experience as a dietitian and also have a passion for sports nutrition, as a distance runner myself. Whether you are just beginning your journey with a sport/activity, or are at a more experienced level, fueling properly can feel like an overwhelming challenge. I will work with you to adapt nutrition and fueling strategies that suit your body and activity so you can give your body what it needs to perform its best.
The intersection of mental health and nutrition is very complex and I want to help each person navigate that. The burden you may feel from food or body image is not something that you have to live with, and I truly care about helping you get to a comfortable and secure place with each.

Get StartedWhat it's like working with me
Your session with me: I am genuinely interested in getting to know and understand you as a person. You will never feel like I am on a pedestal, talking to and judging you. Sessions are conversational and collaborative, free of judgement or lecturing from me.
My energy: I am genuine and attentive in conversations, bringing both humor and a grounding energy. Others have described me as easy to open up to, vibrant and non-judgmental.
Outside of the office: My ideal morning is coffee on the porch doing NYT puzzles, followed by a run. On the weekends, I love having fun with my friends, thrifting and dining outdoors!
Fun/meaningful fact: I’ve loved taking bigger leaps the older I get, including: qualifying for the Boston Marathon, doing a solo trip to Europe and moving half way across the country with my best friend!
