About

Food and body concerns can take up way more time and energy than they deserve. Maybe you’re tired of the dieting cycle, feeling guilty after eating, or constantly thinking about what you should or shouldn’t eat. Maybe you’ve tried every rule, plan, and “fresh start” and still don’t feel at ease around food or in your body. Whether you have struggled in your relationship with food/movement or have been battling eating disorder recovery

As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) I support people working through eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, and chronic dieting. I’ve provided care in residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings. Recovery can look different for everyone, which means my approach and each session is unique to you and your needs. My approach is empathetic, nonjudgmental, evidence-based, and focused on meeting you where you are. It’s also grounded in evidence based practices, trauma-informed care, intuitive eating and weight inclusivity.

Recovery doesn’t have to happen all at once—and you don’t need to be “ready enough” or have everything figured out before you begin. I’m here to support you wherever you are in the process, with compassion, collaboration, and maybe the occasional well-timed food pun.

What it's like working with me

Your session with me: In our sessions we’ll talk about your life, experiences, and the things that matter to you; at a pace that feels comfortable. Our relationships with food and our body is created by so many things we may have never thought connected. Together, we will get curious about those connections, make sense of what’s been keeping you stuck, and find steps forward that fit your life.

My energy: Warm, down to earth, compassionate, and collaborative—with a little humor when the moment calls for it.

Outside of the office: I am a mom, runner and flower farmer. I love being outside, watching Michigan State sports (Go green) and of course I love all things Bravo and romantasy books!

Fun/meaningful fact: My passion project is expanding and creating on my family's flower farm. It's actually called The Dietitian's Farm!
