About
Hi there, party people! I'm Maggie, and I'm so glad you found your way here.
I'm a Registered Dietitian with over a decade of experience and specialties in both eating disorders and sports nutrition. I've always been especially drawn to the intersection of eating disorders, fueling, and movement. Whether someone is just beginning to explore movement, enjoys it recreationally, participates in school or collegiate athletics, or competes at an elite level, I've spent much of my career diving into the research and supporting people at all stages of that journey. My goal is to help individuals return safely to the sport they love, or simply discover what it looks like to move their body in a way that feels sustainable, balanced, and supportive for the long haul.
While eating disorders and sports nutrition will always hold a special place in my professional heart, the center of my work is actually pretty simple: I want to give you the tools, support, and space to build a more peaceful relationship with food and your body.
Why? Because food is one of the most personal parts of our lives. It nourishes us, connects us to the people we love, shows up at celebrations and milestones, and carries memories, traditions, and plenty of emotions along the way. I want to help you step away from rigid food rules, guilt, and self-judgement and move toward a relationship with food that feels flexible, nourishing, and genuinely enjoyable.
And your body? It's your physical home. Life is simply too short to spend it constantly fighting against the place you live in every single day.
My approach is weight-inclusive and grounded in principles such as Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating, with the belief that nutrition should support your life, not control it. We'll work together to find an approach that honors both your physical and emotional well-being, makes room for the things that matter to you, and hopefully helps food, movement, and your body feel a little less complicated along the way!

Get StartedWhat it's like working with me
Your session with me is built upon a foundation that is a safe and judgement-free space. Think less "nutrition lecture" and more honest conversation! We'll get curious about what's going on, unpack what's feeling hard, talk through the messy stuff, celebrate the wins (I'm a self-proclaimed "kudos" human!), and find realistic ways for nutrition to support your life. I use various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, and ERP to name a few, while ensuring that the techniques are enhancing both your toolbox and your overall journey.
My energy brings equal parts warmth, compassionate listening, and good-natured humor. There's room to do the hard, meaningful work AND for us to laugh together along the way. I'll bring the nutrition expertise, but you're always the expert on you!
Outside of the office I'm a mom to three rascally kiddos who keep me plenty busy! Besides keeping those goofballs alive and well, I live in Door County, Wisconsin with my husband. Door County is known as the "Cape Cod of the Midwest", so we're fortunate to have gorgeous nature surrounding us, which keeps us outdoors nearly all year round. I'm an avid reader in all formats (physical book, Kindle, audiobook, etc.) but prefer physical books first and foremost. My TBR list is quite long, but I'm always looking for another rec to add to it!
A fun/meaningful fact about me is I have two dogs, Ruby (a pitbull/boxer/terrier mix) and Bacon (a pitbull/bulldog mix). While both are loved dearly, Bacon tends to be the star of the show. He is what we call a "low-rider", meaning low to the ground, deaf, and 80-lbs. of love. He is affectionately known as a "loaded baked potato" and we wouldn't have him any other way!
