About
Hi, I’m Julia! I’m a registered dietitian who believes nourishment should leave room for real life, your favorite foods, and the way your brain works. With over 20 years of experience in behavioral health, I help people build a more peaceful relationship with food and their bodies through compassion, curiosity, and a little humor along the way.
I specialize in neurodivergence, ADHD nutrition, eating disorders, and disordered eating. Whether you’re forgetting meals, navigating sensory preferences, feeling overwhelmed by food decisions, or working toward recovery, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. Together, we’ll find practical, flexible strategies that fit your needs, culture, preferences, and everyday life.
My care is grounded in evidence-based practice and a weight-inclusive perspective. I do not provide weight-loss treatment; our work will focus on consistent nourishment, body trust, and sustainable habits that support your physical and mental health. You deserve respectful, individualized care at every body size.
I love to bring my personal experience, clinical experience and specialized training to this work. I’m a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Consultant (CEDS-C), Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, certified in Nutrition Psychiatry, and a Licensed Body Positive Facilitator. I’ve also served as Vice President of Clinical Nutrition and Senior Director of Nutrition and Wellness, developing compassionate, evidence-based programs, and have presented nationally and internationally on ADHD nutrition, brain health, nutrition psychiatry, intuitive eating, and food exposure work.
I’d love to help you make food feel a little easier, build trust in yourself, and find ways to nourish your body and brain that feel supportive rather than overwhelming.

Get StartedWhat it's like working with me
Your session with me: Our sessions are a collaborative space where you can show up exactly as you are. We’ll explore how eating supports your energy, focus, emotions, and mental well-being while building confidence and flexibility around food. There’s room for convenience foods, comfort foods, cultural favorites, and new experiences. You don’t need to eat perfectly to nourish yourself.
Outside the office: I love spending time with my husband and sons and embracing my role as the “crazy chicken lady”—yes, I talk to my chickens, Diva, Goldie, and Ruby! I’m also a proud husky mom to Dolly and Cali. When I get a little downtime, you’ll find me enjoying a weekend nap or getting lost in a romantasy book. Yes, you read that right! :)
