About

Hi there! I’m Jamie. If thoughts about food or your body have started to take up more space in your life than you want them to, you’re in the right place. Maybe you feel caught between wanting to nourish yourself and feeling afraid of food, weight gain, or losing control. Maybe mealtimes are stressful, your thoughts about food feel constant, or you’re tired of rules, guilt, and second-guessing what—and how much—you “should” eat. Maybe you’ve been in treatment before and are looking for a different kind of support. With nearly a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults with similar concerns, I’ve learned that no person or experience is the same. There is no “perfect” way to eat, and you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Together, we can work toward a more peaceful relationship with food and your body—one that allows you to nourish yourself, enjoy food, participate fully in life, and trust your body again. Wherever you are on your journey, you deserve compassionate, individualized care that meets you where you are. My hope is to create a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you work toward healing and a life of food freedom.

What it's like working with me

Your Sessions with Me: You are the expert in your own lived experience, and I want to spend time getting to know you, in addition to the eating difficulties you may be experiencing. My goal is for us to work together in partnership, using human-centered and evidence-based treatment approaches. Our sessions are a safe, non-judgmental space for us to connect, celebrate wins, address challenges, feel the feels and even share a few laughs.

My energy: Warm, curious, and encouraging. Think of me as both a coach and a cheerleader: here to offer guidance, challenge you when needed, and celebrate your progress along the way.

Outside of the office: When I'm not working, you can find me curled up with a good book, trying my hand at watercolor painting, exploring local trails, listening to Taylor Swift, making mems with my favorite people (& wiener dog!) and scuba diving on the special occasions I find myself in the ocean!
